Squeezing in a few Fun times before Winter hits....

Hi Everyone!
How are you?....Or, I should say, "Hi!" (in my best Cohen voice).  Yep, that's right.... I have started to talk.  I can say all sorts of funny things - at least that's what mostly happens when I talk, my Mommy and Daddy giggle.  They must think I'm pretty cute, and funny (we do!).

Sitting on a bench in Aspen, chattin' it up!
My favorite words are, of course, 'DaDA,' 'MaMA,' 'Moooooon,' 'NiteNite,' 'down there' (which sounds more like 'downare' and I say it when I want to go anywhere) and 'NOOOOO!'  I can also repeat just about anything  you say, like choo choo, milk, more, doggie, bath, yes, nice!, and uh-oh.  And I just recently started calling my Mommy 'Honey' because that's what my Daddy calls her (by far, my Mommy's favorite of all my words).

Of course, I am not doing ANY of these words justice - you have to hear me say them to hear how cute I am when I talk.  My inflection is so delibrate and the smile on face when you can actually understand what I want is priceless.....

We are starting to wrap up summer (sad) so we have been trying to get out and see a few more outside things before it gets too cold.  We have been playing outside as much as possible and also going on hikes and trips to see the beautiful fall scenery.  Our most recent trip was to Glenwood Springs where we played at the park, went for a night swim in the Hot Springs, and drove over Independence Pass to look at all the amazing fall colors.  If you've never done this, we HIGHLY recommend doing this trip.  It was absolutely stunning and so breathtaking.  Who knew it could be so amazing?!?!  The pictures below don't quite do it justice, but you can get a hint and maybe plan a trip of your own someday.

We also got to spend some GREAT quality time with extended family.  My Uncle Evan and new Aunt Lisa had a wedding reception (yep, Uncle Evan finally took the plunge.... YAY!!) so most of our family flew in from out of state to attend and visit with the newlyweds.  It was a great, fun packed weekend.  We had 7 people stay with us so it was practically a 24/7 party (not like I know what that means or anything :)).  When they weren't whooping it up with the newlyweds we took them to Red Rocks and on a hike up Castle Rock.  The weather was so perfect we chatted on the back patio a bunch and ate a lot!  I hope they come back to visit soon, we had a great weekend!  The picture above is of our family spelling out E+L for the wedding festivities.  They hiked up a trail near our house to take advantage of the view and decided to get 'artsy.'

The next few months are going to fly by!  We have Halloween, Daddy's birthday, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and then my new Baby Brother or Sister will be here!  If you look close in the pictures below, you can see my baby in my Mommy's belly... she tries to hide it, but it sticks out a LOT!  I can't wait!!  I bet they are going to be sooooo cute!..... And loud.  And Stinky.  And Cute.

Hope this finds you all healthy and happy and always counting your blessings.  I know we are!
Love,
Cohen
