Last month was a fun month, and an emotional one for this Mama! My Baby Cohen turned 2! I can't believe it! He is such a joy.... an absolute miracle to me. I'm sure all mom's think this, but I have to say he is so smart and funny! He is a happy, curious little boy, complete with some pretty great quirks.
We still continue to battle the 'fuzzy wuzzies' in the bath tub. He HATES it when the lint from his socks get in the tub. He is afraid they will eat him, like they are bugs! It's hysterical! He is also not keen to any sort of dough.... raw pizza dough, playdoh, or any other substance with that texture freaks him out. Also very funny!
Cohen is VERY musical. He LOVES playing the guitar with his Daddy. Their newest record release includes Ho Hey by the Lumineers.... take a listen, it's a goodie! He also enjoys playing the drum set in our basement and singing into the real microphone as well. He sings a mean 'Twinkle Twinkle'!! He often just breaks into song - no matter the audience or location - he can gather an audience pretty quickly! We take him to music class once a week where other kids his age learn fun songs and use rhythmic instruments to learn to follow direction and sing along to a beat. He in thriving in this class and looks SO forward to going each week.
I could go on and on about how great my kid is but the fact is you just have to see for yourself. Thanks for letting me rant.... here are a few pictures of his 'RockStar' birthday party. Thanks to Auntie Lis for the guitar cake and for everyone who came to make the day SO special!
