We had a great Halloween this year! As usual (until I can get away with it at least) I had all of us dress up together - I was Dorothy, Nate was Tin Man, Cohen the Cowardly Lion, and Evan was the Scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz. It was Ah-Dorable! We spent the evening 'Trick Or Treating' around our neighborhood with friends and collecting lots of goodies! It was pretty cold, and the wind picked up too, so we didn't stay out too long.
We also celebrated at a Halloween Party during the day in the park. It was with our Stroller Stride friends and was so fun! It was great to be able to play outside in our Halloween costume!
This was the first year Cohen really understood and could say, 'trick or treat,' so that was fun. He would walk up to each house and shout in his best Halloween voice, 'TRICK OR TREAT' while waiting for that special treat to drop in his pumpkin bucket. A few of the pieces of candy must have been really good because Cohen would NOT let them out of this hand.... almost like he knew they would get taken!
I think this is just the start of all sorts of fun memories with our boys - they are growing up so fast and are SO amazing! We always have so much fun together, it is wonderful!
