Our BIG family trip was wedding related and also a great vacation! Our middle Sis, Amanda, tied the knot to Lucas in Barbados (also on a cruise ship!). We spent 7 super fun days in the Caribbean and on the water.... so amazing.
The boys were also part of the wedding - ring security as usual - and did a fantastic job. They had a little more practice this time and 'nailed it.' We all had fun, on wedding day and beyond, exploring the big ship, checking out the island stops, and playing like we do best.
If I had to pick a favorite part, it would be Airplane Beach on St. Maarten (I think). This is a smaller beach, but total tourist spot. There is an airport RIGHT NEXT TO the beach, so the planes literally take off and land just feet from us and all our bathing suits! It's amazing! There is also some sweet waves - Cohen and Dad especially enjoyed these - body surfing and being washed ashore by them.
We got to spend some amazing time with the whole family - wedding do that. It was really fun to hang out with 60 of our close friends and family for 7 full days. It was really special and a great way for the boys to get to know everyone!
