ALL about Cohen!

Well..... I am SUPER behind on posting, as you can see.  I was worried this would happen as these wild boys stopped napping.  During nap was when I'd get a lot done on the computer, but now, that has changed.  SO, I am going to do things a bit different until I can remember what actually happened during any given month - shameless 'busy mom' plug right there!!

This post will be ALLLL about Cohen (don't worry Evan, your post is coming).

As a growing boy, Cohen is all things busy.  Busy playing soccer, riding bikes, building Legos, playing Star Wars, watching movies, playing guitar, eating a LOT, sleeping well, and being an awesome kid in general.

We started out with Soccer Buddies - a program designed to teach soccer skills, not just the typical practice/games.  It's been really fun!  Cohen has learned a lot in a few months and is having a blast!

We've also participated in Swim School - an amazing, more than lessons, type place that teaches breathing, floating, survival, as well as swimming.  Cohen has excelled in swimming, he's always been a natural like his Dad, and LOVES the water.  All of it.

This summer we've also taken up horse back riding!  Mom loves this, of course.  We've had so much fun learning to ride on Eclipse, a sweet little paint pony!  Miss Katie, teaches us to brush, saddle, bridle, lead Eclipse, walk him, trot, and take him around obstacles.  It's really fun and we hope to continue so we get better and better!

We've taken our horse riding 'skills' to the next level and got to do some Muttin' Bustin' this year!  Cohen was SO excited and did really well!  It was awesome (a life long dream of mine, but I was always too old).

I didn't know this (among the other 1 million things I've learn over the years), but 5 years old is a fun milestone.  This has been the age for Cohen where he can finally do some things that he was too young or too short for before.  One of these is the 'bigger' kid rides at various places.  The picture below is in Glenwood on the chair swing ride!  He was pumped!
