Well, I'm Here!! Cohen James Harris - born April 19th at 8:09pm. I weigh 6 lbs, 10 oz and am 20.5 inches long. Labor was long but Mommy (and Daddy!) did a great job and I came out just as perfect as can be! Mom asked Dad to tell her whether I was a boy or girl and he was SO elated to see my pretty face Dad forgot to say! So mom had to find out herself and then tell Daddy - HA!
The doctors joked that the umbilical cord 'hog tied' my legs and feet but since delivery was so fast I didn't stress too much. I was a little cold too - the nurse had to take me and put in the heat lamp for a while... not as cozy as my Mommy, but I managed to warm up and then eat a big delicious meal shortly after.
My mom and dad say I'm a miracle and boy do I believe it! What a crazy place this is! Thanks to everyone for all the warm visits and gifts; I'm very spoiled already!!
LOL - love the part about how excited Nate was and forgot to tell you boy or girl! What a precious moment, and a great story to share. Can totally picture how excited you guys were in that moment and how excited you must be now. xoxo
