Hey Everyone!
Brittnie here, just taking a few minutes while BOTH boys are asleep and quiet to write with a little update and post a few pictures. WHEW! It never stops in the Harris household these days! It is always a new adventure and lots of fun! It's been a pretty mild winter so we have been able to get out of the house quite a bit and enjoy our family and friends. Thankfully, illness has stayed away so far and we have been able to show off our baby Evan and entertain the always busy Cohen with activities and friends.
Evan is an absolute angel. He is very laid back so far, just goes with the flow and rarely makes a fuss. He eats very well, is growing a bunch, and is a really good sleeper too. I am amazed how much 'better' I am at this mom stuff the second time around... haha! I know you mom's can relate to that! I also am so blessed to have 2 easy, adorable, healthy children.... wow!
Evan has had to put up with his big brother picking on him already. Just the other day, the 3 of us were in the bathroom while I was getting ready. Cohen likes to turn on the bathtub water and 'dump' out water from a cup into the tub. I was busy fussing with my hair and heard a quiet, "Dump. Head." from Cohen followed by a very loud cry out from Evan. Yep. Cohen dumped a cup of water (not a full one luckily) onto his brother's head while Evan sat peacefully in his cozy chair!!! This was followed by a trip to timeout for Cohen and a wardrobe change for poor Evan.... and a good laugh for Mom when I was done cleaning up the mess. Oh toddlers..... ;-)
Cohen continues to be our little Ham. He is SO busy and talkative! He will say anything, yes anything, we say. Sometimes that's a good thing, other times, not so much. He surprises me everyday with a new word.... some good, some not so good. Both Nate and I have had to revamp our vocabulary the last few months! He is also climbing, running, digging, throwing, and cuddling like crazy. He loves his 'treehouse' big boy room and looking for school busses and 'choo choos' to go by while we drive. He also LOVES music. He plays the guitar and drum set with Daddy everyday and is always singing, dancing, tapping his foot or snapping to the beat of a "good song!" He is the light of our lives and can make you smile just by giving you a grin with those big blue eyes!
We will be celebrating Evan's 3rd month of life in April, as well as Cohen's 2nd birthday! WHEW, time flies! Here are a few pictures of our Adventures this winter. Love and hugs, Brittnie and The Boys
