Baby Harris: Charleston/Cruise June 2014

Hello!
Our major trip this year was to South Carolina and on our first family Cruise! We had a BLAST! It was one of my most favorite trips I've been on.... full of all things important - family, friends, fun, water, sand, and sun!

We started our adventure on a smaller cruise ship that set sail for 5 nights, taking 2 stops at 2 different Bahama cities - Freeport and Nassau. Since Evan still needs a good nap in the afternoon, we spent our time exploring the city in the morning, taking a taxi to a local beach, and taking a guided bus tour of the city. We also went to an animal sanctuary and saw some amazing birds! Cohen and Evan are such fish! They LOVE the water - ocean, pool, hot tub, doesn't matter - these boys would swim all day! It was really fun watching them play and giggle together... they're to an age where they can play well together and have fun! It makes this mom's heart very happy!

Our Best Auntie Jenny Babe finally said YES and got engaged to Kasey on the trip! It was a highlight of the cruise and something we were all hopeful for! Both his family and our family were there to see the proposal and shed a few tears!

Our next stop was Charleston, SC where we rented a house and stayed all together right on the river. It was super cool! There was lots of space, an angry birds room, and a fun dock where we caught crabs and sat by the fire at night. We had lots of water fights and visited some historical places while trying to stay cool... the humidity was somethin' else! Not quite sure how to handle it... this CO girl was sweaty!

Here are a few pictures, although we had to create another entire book dedicated to our trip. There were SO many wonderful memories to capture, it was hard to narrow down which pictures did this trip justice!
