Happy 4th Birthday, Cohen!

Truth be told, I am WAY behind on posting..... it's been a busy summer and 'life' just keeps going along.  SO, while Cohen is almost 4 1/2 (he reminds me of that daily!) here I am posting his 4th birthday party.

It was super fun!  We rented a bowling lane and had fun playing, eating cupcakes, and then running around in the arcade.  It was the first birthday party where we invited more 4 year old friends than adult friends/family!  Kind of a milestone, right!?!?

A few things about Cohen, and his 4 year old 'isms'......
-He pretends he's 5! He tells everyone he's 5, with a little snicker afterwards.
-He went through a phase over the summer where he only wanted MOM.  No one else - not a sitter, not the church nursery, not GiGi or Grams, Papa or any other family - no one.  Is was heartbreaking, honestly, because sometimes Mom (me) needs a break!
-Cohen is very complacent - he enjoys being asked to help, or be the leader, or follow directions.  He follows the rules and doesn't like to get in trouble.  He is very social, when he wants to be, and everyone is his friend.  He'll talk to anyone, hold an entire conversation.
-He is also very interested in time.  "What time is it, Mom?"  or "What time do we leave here, Mom?" or "What time is bedtime, Mom?"

All this to say, we are one blessed family.  Cohen is a happy, healthy little boy.  He seems much more grown up than 4 - maybe why he 'pretends' to be 5.  He eats and sleeps well, he plays well, and is so loving and caring to his little Bro.  And, yes, I am one biased Mom!

I have a picture of him on this exact fire hydrant when we was just 1!!!
