It's holiday prep time around here! Time to start talking about Santa, making lists, learning all about this super fun season..... and I say this every year. Being a parent is WAY more fun than being a kid! The magic during the season is so incredible to me.... kids make this season memorable and fun.
We have started to really 'catch on' to the season - it's meaning, the traditions, making sure we're on Santa's NICE list! All the fun things.
Some of the fun things we've done so far are Storytime at the library - they read Polar Express and handed out cocoa and bells!
We also decorated a gingerbread house - this was fun and hard. It's too tempting to just eat all the candy! But, we did it, and still had some candy for decorating.
We also sit on Santa's lap - at the library every year. They have a story and song, and he has each kid sit on his lap for a picture. Really nice Santa!
Our Elf, Rowdy, came this year (see other post!) and brought us PJ's! This was super fun! More on him later........
I wish I could bottle up the energy and excitement of children this age - their wonder and amazement is priceless and something I'll always cherish.
