Yay for Summer!! Happy for the sunshine, green trees, warm pools and fun with friends! We have spent the last 2 Fourth of July Holidays in Brush, CO with our close friends, The Janzen's. April is from there and her parents still live there. So each year we go to the small town and get all the good stuff! They have a parade, a rodeo and the BEST fireworks show EVER!!! It's always so HOT, so we find ways to cool off - like getting sprayed at the parade, or doing a SlipNSlide in the backyard. We love this tradition every year!
*side note: I'm writing this a year later, almost to the day, and we didn't go this year. We stayed home and hung out on our street and it just wasn't the same. I'm guessing we WILL be back next year!
