It's a BoyMom Life

Boys.  Boy Mom.  Mom of allllll Boys.  I never thought I'd be a BoyMom, but here I am.  I've learned a lot about boy things..... boogers and other bodily functions, anything with wheels, anything with a motor, anything gross, silly, pranks, action, or adventure.  It's certainly helped me keep my youth and has challenged my strength, both mentally and physically!

Summer of 2016 was full of all of the above.  Our yearly trip to Devil's Head and the hike to the fire lookout never disappoints.  We love Bill, the fire ranger, the 143 stairs to the top, the shadowy tree hike and anything else we find along the way.  Devil's Head holds a special place in our hearts, we got engaged there, we've hiked it many times, with many people who we love, and our boys appreciate now just as much as we do.  So special.

Our fun town is growing SO much!  Castle Rock is an awesome place to live, and it keeps getting better!  Recently our town built a huge recreation area that includes parks, soccer fields, indoor fun, hiking trails, a mini incline of stairs, and a few super fun sky/ropes course adventure towers.  Hard to know what to call them, but they are fun!!  The boys love love these places - they are challenging, exciting, exhilarating and a great way to spend an afternoon.  The pictures below are with our friends, The Blanchards, who are awesome people.  They have 2 kids who are the same age as Cohen and Evan and have been part of many of our adventures!
