It's a milestone Month in the Harris house!!! Dad is 40 this year!!!! We planned and schemed and begged for answers to make this year the BEST yet for our amazing dad/hubby! He was tough - NO party. NO surprises. NO big deal..... pppfffft!!! No way!
So we decided Dad needed a 'guys weekend.' We found 7 of his fave dudes and they went to AZ for a golf weekend away. I don't know what happened there (glad for that!) but they all made it back just fine, and he seemed to have an awesome time! We had a small family cake on his actual birthday and a few family dinners and that was enough. He turned 40 without a hitch! Congrats Dad!

A few other adventures we took in honor of our 40 year old included a trip to Mexico for Thanksgiving and a guitar building class, a definite highlight. I'll have more pictures of Mexico in another post and probably more guitar pics too. Nate was like a kid in a candy store! He built his own guitar, a model of a Martin guitar, built to exact specs. Pretty amazing! It really is incredible..... it actually plays, sounds amazing, and is absolutely gorgeous! Not kidding! He is a proud guy and rightfully so (we are too!!!)!
