Our first year of school was really fun! We went 1/2 days, which was perfect. Cohen thrived in his class of just 15 kiddos and his amazing teacher Mrs Clay. Pictures speak a thousand words so take a look below.... but.... I also don't really have words for the fun, happiness, learning, growth, and love that took place this year. I'll get to Evan in a post as well, but it really was an amazing year of school. Cohen learned to love his peers, lead by example, he learned to read and write, to color in the lines, and to just be a better person in general. He seemed to love school too - which is a BIG change from previous years. While in past years he would go to school, still learn lots, and had tons of friends, there was something about this year that really took hold. It's bigger than me....better than me.

These girls have a special place in our hearts. Donnabel is kind of the sister Cohen never had, and Scarlett was 'the catch of the year' for Cohen this year. Both girls are adorable and so fun to be around.

We take a lot of pride in our kids always. And some things are worth it - good grades, skilled athlete, extra kindness to someone in need. But Kindy Graduation, while cute, is a big much. Don't get me wrong, it's worth it! But, as Nate says, 'how many times does a kid get to graduate these days!?!' Ha!
